Yes! Send pics like these!

Well Lit

This is a great photo choice because:
  • Well Lit - you can see all the details in the body and face
  • Includes all of the head, and front paws (back end would not be in the artwork)
  • Demonstrates the typical "personality" of the subject

Full body, Nice pose

This is a great photo choice because:
  • Great full body visibility with no features left in question
  • Nice pose
  • Well Lit - you can see all the details in the body and face
  • Demonstrates the typical "personality" of the subject

Close Up

This is a great photo choice because:
  • Great close up shot
  • Well Lit - you can see all the details in the body and face
  • Includes most of the head (no special detail missing which may be "filled in" by artist)
  • Demonstrates the typical "personality" of the subject

Unique Pose

This is a great photo choice because:
  • Interesting pose, creates visual interest
  • Well Lit - you can see all the details in the body and face
  • Includes full view of body, but not taken too far away (about 3-6ft from subject)
  • Demonstrates the typical "personality" of the subject

Nope! Try not to send these!

Poorly Lit

This is not a great photo choice because:
  • Lighting comes from behind the subject, makes the face look dark
  • Hard to see the details of the subject
What would make it better:
  • Light comes from behind the person taking the photo, so we can see the face better.

Too Far Away, Tiny Subject

This is not a great photo choice because:
  • The subject is small in the photo, making it hard to see most important details and features
  • Lighting comes from behind/side of the subject, makes the face look dark
What would make it better:
  • Light comes from behind the person taking the photo, so we can see the face better.
  • Taking the photo closer to the subject (with in 3-6ft is ideal)

Poorly Lit, Missing Details

This is not a great photo choice because:
  • Lighting comes from behind/side of the subject, makes the face look dark
  • Hard to see the details of the subject
What would make it better:
  • Light comes from behind the person taking the photo, so we can see the face better.
  • A pose where the entire body is visible, including the back leggs, and tail.
  • Make sure whatever details you want in the artwork are in the photo submittted.
